2018 Audi Q5
Overview
The recently redesigned Audi Q5 is the exemplary modern luxury SUV. The redesign allowed Audi engineers to update the successful Q5 model with the latest in performance, safety, and infotainment innovations, all while maintaining the timeless luxury look and feel of the Q5 platform that drivers have come to love.
The Perfect Ride for…
The modern driver who wants capability in all driving conditions as well as luxurious refinement in the driver’s seat. All trim levels of the Q5 come standard with the legendary quattro® all-wheel drive with ultra® technology, which combines driving dynamics with efficiency. This brand-exclusive innovation constantly monitors metrics from the road and proactively switches from front-wheel drive to all-wheel drive, giving the Q5 power before the driver can even realize it’s needed. Even better, this confidence in control is available starting at $41,500.*
Drive & Handling
The Q5 derives its power from a 2.0-liter turbocharged TFSI® direct-injection engine. TFSI stand for "Turbocharged Fuel Stratified Injection," a pressure-driven fuel injection method derived from LeMans racecar technology. The result in the Q5 is impressive thrust, greater fuel efficiency, and reduced emissions. That increased power takes the shape of 252 hp, 273 lb-ft of torque, and a 0 to 60 acceleration time of 5.9 seconds. That improved fuel economy ends up at an EPA-estimated 23 mpg city and 27 mpg highway.**
Key Features
Audi pre sense®
This radar-powered safety system found in Audi models can sense impending impact and prepare the vehicle to protect its occupants. Beginning with the standard Audi pre sense® basic, when the process detects a collision, it closes side windows and the panoramic sunroof, pretensions the front safety belts, and prepares the brake system for more responsiveness in case emergency maneuvers are necessary. Upgrades are available to add more automated precautions and increase the pre sense zones to the front, rear, and sides.
MMI® Touch
Thanks to the Q5’s available MMI® Touch interface, you can access a wealth of amenities with the swipe of your finger. The MMI® interface sits comfortably within reach on the center console, just below the Q5’s in-dash infotainment display (a standard 7-inch or available 8.3-inch LCD). MMI® Touch’s cutting-edge handwriting-recognition technology allows you to use your finger to write in the name of your destination, allowing you to effortlessly and safely enjoy the available MMI® navigation.
Storage Options
This two-row, five-seater SUV comes with multiple thoughtful options for stowing all of your gear. Inside, sliding and split-folding 40/20/40 rear seatbacks can increase the rear cargo area volume to over 60 cubic feet. Plus, multiple cargo nets, tensions bands, and tie downs offer a variety of ways to secure and organize your cargo. On top of all that, aluminum roof rails offer the opportunity to secure even more cargo above.
Alternative Options
The all-new Audi Q5 offers a lot of capability with five seats, but you can get just as much all-terrain versatility with room for seven passengers in the larger Audi Q8. However, if what you need is speed, the Audi S4 has an all-new 3.0-liter supercharged V6 that puts out 354 hp. Whatever your unique needs may be, we have many new Audi options available for you.
